In 2012 Lord and Lady Davies moved out of Plas Dinam and their daughter Eldrydd returned from Australia with her family to start a new venture. Since then, with lots of renovating and improvements, Plas Dinam has become an award winning country house perfect for celebrating anything!
Plas Dinam sleeps up to 34 people in 15 big bedrooms and suites and has a huge dining room which seats up to 60. The only problem is you may well fall in love with it and return year after year. Why? Extracts from Trip Advisor reviews answer this best:

Plas Dinam feels like a family home with a warm heart

“Plas Dinam is even more impressive and more beautiful than it looks on the website. I organised a reunion weekend and having shopped around the house was always my first choice, but arriving on the Friday it was stunning, with so many nooks and crannies to explore and a incredible sense of comfort despite its hotel-like size.”

Plas Dinam has a big WOW factor and stunning views

“I chose Plas Dinam for my 50th birthday celebrations originally purely because of the beautiful setting and the size and presence of the house (being big enough to sleep 30 people). When I actually saw the venue in person I could not have been more impressed – the grounds and location are magnificent and the house is stunning.”

Plas Dinam is exceptionally well equipped

“From the large kitchen with massive proper and original pantry, which we spent quite a lot of our time in (with a double AGA, double catering oven and single oven, 2 dishwashers, 2 large fridges plus the drinks room fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, mega amounts of crockery and cutlery – I could go on but you get my drift), to the two large lounges (one doubled as our party room), a massive dining hall (which is stunning), a full size billiard/snooker table room (used a fair bit mainly by the men), a small and comfy TV room (great for the FA Cup Final), an abundance of beautiful bedrooms most with incredible views and great bathrooms/shower rooms – this house has everything and more!”

It's one of the best, if not the best in the country

“Our annual get-together of 20+ friends & their families has seen us staying in Scottish hunting lodges, country seats, Lundy’s Governor’s House & many more, but this has been widely agreed as the most spectacular yet. Early home of the famous Davies sisters, who gave their great art bequest to Cardiff’s National Museum, it’s by turns opulent, comfortable, excellently kitted out and surrounded by the most gorgeous scenery.”
