Plas Dinam has so much to offer! From extra accommodation in the Lodge and glamping for more friends, to a tennis court and pizza oven. Find out how to make your stay at Plas Dinam epic!

Plas Dinam

Plas Dinam is not a hotel and we don’t take separate bookings for bedrooms. It’s a family house to book entirely for you! Whilst it has the feel of boutique accommodation with towels, robes, hairdryers, REN skincare toiletries, room fragrances and flowers, it has a family kitchen and no reception desk! Dogs are welcome too.

Plas Dinam has 15 bedrooms. Most have huge beds and some can be twin bedrooms. The family suite has 3 adjoining bedrooms, perfect for a family of 5. There are 10 bathrooms, some ensuite, others with big showers and claw foot baths. To make sense of this please see the interactive floor plans!

The Lodge

The Lodge is a 3 bedroom house situated at the bottom of the main drive to Plas Dinam. Like many Lodges, it was built to be a mini version of the main house, so is a reflection of Plas Dinam. It is decorated in similar classical style with quality furniture and fittings and views of the hills.

On the ground floor there is a spacious kitchen adjoining the dining room, a sitting room with wood burner and a small cloak room. On the first floor there is a master bedroom with king bed, ensuite and a claw foot bath, 2nd bedroom with king bed, 3rd bedroom with twin/double bed and a bathroom with shower. There is parking for 2 cars and a garden with tables and chairs with views of the hills.

You can hire the lodge as part of a booking of Plas Dinam, or independently.

Glamping

New for 2021 are bell tents in the grounds of Plas Dinam. We have 9 bell tents, 7 with a double bed and 2 with 4 single beds. These are available from May to end September providing extra accommodation, with real beds and quality linen and loos and showers nearby. They are tucked away along the woodland walk to the village, with views of the hills. A simple breakfast hamper is provided for each one. The newly renovated Chauffeurs loft provides glampers with 2 lovely bathrooms, 2 large dressing rooms with makeup stations and irons. In addition, a kitchenette with nespresso machine and sofas and plugs to recharge phones! Getting ready for a wedding whilst glamping has never been better!

Stables Loft

The Chauffeurs loft is recently converted, providing 2 extra bedrooms for additional guests, each with their own bathrooms. Previously it housed all the estate correspondence from 1900-1950’s! There’s a small kitchenette, with combi microwave, nespresso machine and comfy sofas.  It is above the Stables dancefloor so may be best for party people! In summer it is used by glampers as getting-wedding-ready rooms.

Extend the fun!

There’s so much to do at Plas Dinam to make you pleased that you extended your stay! Indoors, whatever the weather, Plas Dinam’s billiard room, a table tennis tournament, browsing the museum, singing around the grand piano, reading a book from the library, the fancy dress boxes, and just maybe some X Box will keep everyone entertained.

And when the sun shines the 13 acres of grounds have a tennis court, den building areas, swings (for adults and children), garden games and wood lined walks. The hills are waiting to be explored, on foot or by bike, and locally there’s a clay shooting centre and a lovely market town. We can organise fishing, archery, falconry, pampering or yoga, all at Plas Dinam.
